Responsibility for Customs Duty and safe postal address
The BUYER is responsible for paying tax or import duties, Australia is added at checkout. Items will be listed as "Ornaments" on custom documents.
Postage to USA is by Royal Mail via USPS is tracked and signed for. It usually arrives in 5-10 days.
You can follow your items progress with the tracking number I send to you in your 'item sent' message.
Delays can occur in Customs, this will not be visible on the tracking.
Customers whose items are shipped outside of the United Kingdom should assume liability whilst in transit (unless otherwise discussed, other carriers are available).
No liability will be accepted to PO Box delivery addresses as there is no proof of delivery (use alternative address).
Gift wrapping and packaging
All items are boxed and gift wrapped for free. I want you to really enjoy your purchase which may be a gift to someone special.
Refunds and returns
Return requests MUST be within 14 days of receipt of goods.
Responsibility for return postage is with the purchaser.
Returned goods must be in resalable condition in order to receive a full refund.
All returns MUST ONLY be marked 'returned goods' on custom documents and declarations.
Failure to declare 'returned goods' may result in the package being refused at customs and returned to sender.
Items considered 'lost in post' within the UK are a minimum of 30 'working days' from sent date. Investigations are then undertaken prior to any refund being issued. The customer assumes liability for items posted to ALL other countries.
Layaway items may be refunded at the same increment and time period as they were purchased.
If your item is not what you expected
I make every effort to give accurate descriptions of the items I sell, vintage is an item that is from the past, it is therefore 'used', and as such is likely to have been subject to wear and tear. Nothing is less than 20 years old unless made by me.
I usually give a guide in the description to the condition of the item.
However, if you feel that the item is not as described you may request a refund by following the steps below.
Let me know what the problem is before taking any further action, communicate with me, I am human and do make mistakes. I will endeavour to resolve the issue ASAP. You are a valued purchaser, I want you to be happy, and the outcome to be a good one.
Refund requests must be within 14 days of delivery.
What payments are accepted.
All major credit cards are accepted, I accept PayPal, layaway and Etsy gift coupons. Any other form of payment may be accepted so just ask if you are not sure.
Layaway and how it works
By using a 'layaway Plan' you can divide the cost of your item into a number of affordable payments (minimum payment $40). There is no time limit and no interest charges. Simply select the jewellery you like and request a layaway plan with the contact button, let me know how many payments you want to make and I will list that number, each payment will be that fraction of the total sum, the last will include postage and packing. When all are paid I will post the item to you.
Refunds for items purchased on Layaway will be made in identical increments over the same period of time.
Why does the price of a listing vary from day to day?
Because Etsy is a world wide website and I live inthe UK, each day the value of currency alters in countries outside the UK, and as a result the price of the listings vary accourding to the exchange rate. This can be both up or down depending on the strength of your local currency. For example, a ring may be $100 on Monday $102 dollars on Tuesday and $99 on Wednesday as the US Dollar rises and falls on the money markets.
